If you belong to one of the professional groups shown in the
graphic, you can take advantage of the benefits of a Riester
pension. Key details on the Allowances and possible tax benefits
can be found in the following explanation or on our page on
Riester subsidies . How high can your Riester allowances and, if
applicable, your tax benefits be? Find out with our Riester
calculator.
Benefit from various allowances with the Riester pension
You will receive the full annual (Riester) allowances if you
pay 4 percent of your previous year's gross income less the
allowances into your contract up to a maximum of 2,100 euros
per year:
-
the basic allowance of 175 euros
-
the allowance of 175 euros for indirectly eligible spouses
or life partners
-
the child allowance of 185 euros for children born before
2008 and 300 euros for children born from 2008 onwards
-
the one-off entry-level bonus of 200 euros for those under
25
Generally, you don't receive the Riester subsidy
automatically; you must apply for it yourself. Allianz is
happy to take care of this for you. The easiest way to do this
is to apply for a permanent subsidy, which authorizes Allianz
to apply for the annual subsidy on your behalf.
In addition to the allowances, you can benefit from possible
tax advantages: in your tax return, you can claim your paid
contributions together with the allowances as special expenses
up to a maximum of 2,100 euros.
